of “happitude” is...
An old photo of my two incredible parents who
celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary today...
My parents haven’t had the perfect marriage.
There have been many fights and difficulties over the years but despite all of
that my parents have stuck it out for 25 years and they’re still standing.
I remember reading a story about how to create a
marriage that will last. It suggested something along the lines of seeing your
marriage as a house. If one lightbulb goes out, you just change the lightbulb,
you don’t go get a new house.
My parents dealt with a lot of burnt-out
lightbulbs over the years but I’m proud of them for sticking it out in their 25
year old house!
