Today’s little slice of “happitude” is...

A pretty sunset on my drive home. Here’s to the weekend!

I survived the first month of being on my own. It was tough but I handled it so much better than I thought I would. With the love and support of my fabulous friends and my family there isn’t a thing I can’t do!

Things can only get better from here!

Champagne Thursday but we’re missing Kirsty. Nevertheless, happy pink champagne vibes here!

Another standard Champagne Thursday to make us smile.

Today’s little slice of “happitude” is...

McDonald’s comfort food on a rainy day... it might be unhealthy but it sure is tasty!

Not much else to say about this one... I know it isn’t a healthy choice but it’s nice to treat oneself to some junk food once in a while!

Today’s little slice of “happitude” is...

This beauty. Tuesday phone calls and plans to take over the world make my little cup of joy overflow! Too much crazy love for this bestie of mine...

Kirsty was in Cape Town completing part of a course she was doing but when we spoke on the phone it felt as though she was right beside me brightening my day. Some people have the ability to find joy wherever they go and leave joy in the hearts of everyone they meet, and Kirsty is one of those people.

She is a blessing and a treasure and I’m so very lucky to have her in my life.

Today’s little slice of “happitude” is...

A full fridge. Grocery day is a winner!

When you live in a country where there is someone asking for food or spare change at every street corner and traffic light, you learn to be grateful for the little things like a fridge full of food.

Often the things we have when we think we have so little are the things that someone else so much less fortunate is wishing they had.
