#365grateful Post 17

Today’s little slice of “happitude” is...

The beautiful pendant I won from Glove Jewellery.

I’m the kind of person who enters pretty much every competition there is... I wouldn’t say I’m the luckiest person in the world but I’m a firm believer in the fact that you’ve got to be in it to win it.

That said; I entered a competition that I saw advertised on Facebook. It was run by Glove Jewellery and all you had to do was like their page to be entered into the lucky draw that would take place once every month. Every month one name was drawn from a hat and the picture of the name of the lucky winner of a beautiful piece of hand-made jewellery would pop up on my newsfeed.

One day, a few months down the road, I was scrolling through my newsfeed absentmindedly when I realised that Glove Jewellery had posted a picture of my name as the winner of that month’s lucky draw. I was so chuffed and I couldn’t wait to receive my surprise piece of hand-made prettiness in the post.

My rose heart pendant and chain (below) arrived the day before I left for Cape Town and it was exactly the kind of thing I would have picked out if I’d been able to choose a piece of jewellery from the collection myself.

A big thank you to Glove Jewellery for running a great competition and for spoiling me with pretty things!
