#365grateful Post 14

Today’s little slice of “happitude” is...

Gorgeous roses that lasted two and a half weeks before being hung up to dry out as a pretty decoration.

The Greek was sweet enough to spoil me with some beautiful roses which lasted quite a while as far as roses go. I think it’s such a shame to have to throw roses away once they’ve bloomed and started to wilt so I decided to “recycle” them and use them as decoration elsewhere in my home so I can still enjoy them.

A nifty thing about roses is that if you hang them upside down with some ribbon from a curtain rail or hook in the wall they manage to stay preserved and they very seldom make a mess or wilt away further.
