Today’s little slice
of “happitude” is...
Champagne Thursday, surprise dinners, and new
friends.
So... there’s a bit of a back story here... (And
I ought to mention that this back story is the start of a great many more
stories to come...)
A friend of mine convinced me to download a
dating app called Tinder as a bit of a distraction from my recent break-up and
as just a bit of fun. So, a few days into using the app I began chatting to a
few guys and decided to go on a date with one of them.
The date went very well, he was a very charming
bloke and I had a lovely time. He was going away on a business trip for about
two weeks and said he wanted to see me again before he left so he invited me
over to his place for dinner the very next evening. It was a nice break in
routine to spend Champagne Thursday with some new friends and I’d be lying if I
said that it wasn’t a bit exciting to spend a chilled night in with a guy for a
change.
